Insert Clever Title...

…to all the music/sound engineers out there. For all you non-music folks out there, it’s the engineers who add that final touch and make your favorite songs sound as good as they do. Trust me, if you heard the raw, unmixed recording of your favorite track, it would probably sound like doo doo to the ears. lmao.

Since I can’t afford a sound engineer (at least not until I do a really major project, which I would then put up the money for), I have to try to mix the songs myself, which can be frustrating at times. Today/tonight was my first time recording in a long time, so I almost forgot how tedious the whole recording process can be. Everything is all starting to sound the same so I’m calling it a night and stepping away from this song for now. Hopefully I can continue tomorrow and come back with a fresh ear.

Once again, to all you engineers out there, thank you for the hard work and late hours you put in long after the artist has left the studio. From an outsider perspective, it seems like a thankless job, but just know that there are folks who appreciate what y’all do!!
