The Sama Sama Youth Workshop series educates youth on relevant
social, historical, cultural, and economic issues that are often neglected in
traditional school curriculum. By developing a greater understanding
of these issues, our aim is to empower youth to take action through
various forms of expression, such as hip-hop, spoken word, dance, and
visual art.

And just like that…
…a moment of inspiration hit me as I was trying to go to sleep. This is one of those things that can’t be ignored or think you can come back to later. Any artist (music, poetry, visual, etc.) knows that you have to act on it right now while the creative juices are still flowing.
Sure, I might be tired at work for one day, but a finished song will last a lot longer than that. I’d say it’s worth it.
